Maryland Yacht Club 1991 Relaunch T-Shirt

One of six original t-shirts from the star studded ‘91 relaunch of Maryland Yacht Club 

Founded in 1902 and rumoured to be the 2nd oldest yacht club in the USA, Maryland Yacht Club’s original clubhouse lay derelict on the shores of Fairview for decades after an old ‘Naphtha Launch’ set fire to the original English Colonial structure in 1910. 

The clubhouse was finally rescued in 1988 by local socialites Barb and John Beaumont. Works were completed in 1990, and in the spring Maryland Yacht Club was reopened with a star studded launch event attended by actors Tom Selleck, Angela Landsbury, and Dick van Dyke. 

This original ‘91 relaunch T-Shirt is one of only six discovered by Barb when she was clearing out the loft following John’s mysterious death in 1992.
